L&T wins automation orders from Indian Railways
Mumbai, Jan 5: Larsen & Toubro on Tuesday, Jan 5, announced that its wholly owned unit won two projects from Indian Railways.
The projects is for computerising the maintenance of rolling assets of Indian Railways.
L&T in a statement said, "L&T Infotech will deploy enterprise resource planning software and hardware for automating maintenance of the railways' wagon fleet and diesel locomotives."
A spokesman for L&T Infotech refused to disclose the value of the contracts.
