All-party meet on Telagana kick starts in Delhi
New Delhi, Jan 5: The crucial all-party meet convened by the Centre to resolve the Telangana statehood issue has begun in the capital.
Chaired by home minister P Chidambaram, eight registered political parties of Andhra Pradesh including Congress, Telugu Desam Party (TDP), TRS, Praja Rajyam Party (PRP), CPI(M), CPI, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) are participating in the talks.
Andhra Pradesh chief minister K Rosaiah and TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, who led the campaign for a separate state, are also present at the meeting.
