Phase II of CAT-09 scheduled on Jan 30, 31

Ahmedabad, Jan 4: Phase II for those who failed to appear the CAT-2009 exam due to technical glitches will be held on Jan 30 and 31, 2010, convener of CAT-2009 said on Saturday, Jan 2.

"The second phase of CAT will be conducted on January 30 and 31, 2010," convener of CAT-2009 Satish Deodhar said in a News agency report.

The candidate approved to appear for the re-test will be communicated from Prometric by Jan 10, 2010, adding that the results of the test will be declared by the third week of Feb 2010.

The convener informed that the identification of the students were made based on analysis of calls and e-mails received from the candidates, site reports, computer logs and information captured from blogs.

The first phase of first online CAT-2009 was plagued by technical glitches from the very first day, which eventually led to the rescheduling of exam to Dec 8, 2009 against the actual date of Dec 7, 2009.

While some aspirants faced difficulties in facing the test, many failed to appear CAT-09 exam.
