Gas leak at Rourkela steel plant, 8 hospitalised

Rourkela: Eight workers, including three officers, have been hospitalised following a gas leak in steel plant blast furnace here on Sunday, Jan 3.

According to sources, the condition of four of them was critical.

They were admitted into the ICU of the Ispat General Hospital here.

Three contractor labourers and two workers were among the eight persons affected by the gas leak, which started at around 6.30 am.
