B'lore: Students launch 'learn Kannada' website
Bangalore, Jan 3: Students of St Joseph's College of Arts & Science have launched a website called 'Kannada Infomedia'.
The website aims to teach the basic, minimum required Kannada, for a person who does not know the language.
Kannada Infomedia is for all those who come to Karnataka and find it difficult to work because of language problems.
A team from the college began work on it in Aug 2009 under the guidance of Vijayaraghavan, the head of the Kannada department and supported by principal Fr Ambrose Pinto.
It is free and there is no need to register to learn about the language or about the state.
