UP: Several feared dead in 2 train accidents
Kanpur, Jan 2: Low visibility due to the season's first fog in North India led to two train accidents in Uttar Pradesh.
Several people died early on Saturday, Jan 2 when a Bihar-bound Lichavi Express rammed into the stationary Delhi-Islampur Magadh Express at Saraibhopat near Etawah.
Driver of Lichavi Express is also one among the dead, say media reports. The accident has also reportedly left scores of people injured.
In the second accident, Gorakhnath Express rammed into stationary Prayagraj Express at Panki in Kanpur district.
