Mumbai, Jan 2: A controversial video showing the Assistant Commissioner of Police Prakash Wani dancing with members of underworld don Chhota Rajan gang in a aprty has prompted action from the Maharahstra Home Minister R R Patil.
Patil on Friday, Jan 1, sought a report from the police department on the officer attending a party hosted by gangsters on Christmas eve at a private club in suburban Chembur.
The video footage of the party supposedly organised to celebrate the release of Rajan's close aide D K Rao was aired on TV channels.
