Pak nabs suicide bomber at Wagah border

Lahore, Dec 31: Two persons, including a suicide bomber was held by the Pakistan police on Thursday, Dec 31 along the Wagah land border post with India.

Speaking of the arrest, Special Superintendent of Police (operations) Chaudhry Shafiq Ahmad identified the other person arrested with the suicide bomber as the alleged mastermind behind the terrorist attack in Moon Market in Lahore in Dec 7 in which 62 people were killed.

Without disclosing the identities of the duo, Ahmad said that they were planning to carry suicide attack at the Wagah land border post with Amritsar.
