NH 47 in Kerala blocked after 16 injured in accident
Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 31 (ANI): The National Highway 47 in Kerala has been blocked following a major road accident that took place at 5am on Thursday morning between a gas tanker and a car leaving sixteen people seriously injured.
According to reports, 11 fire engines are trying hard to extinguish the fire that arose from the gas tanker after the accident.
Of the sixteen injured, four are police constables, who attempted to interfere soon after the accident. A police jeep was also burnt after the gas tanker burst into flames after the accident.
National Highway 47 is a principal highway that connects Trivandrum to the rest of north Kerala and Bangalore. (ANI)
