Kerala: Gas tanker catches fire; 20 hurt
Kollam, Dec 31: Twenty people were injured were injured when gas tanker caught fire after colliding with a car in Puthantheruvu near Kollam early on Thursday, Dec 31.
Sensing a possible explosion of the fully loaded gas tanker, authorities have evacuated people in the vicinity.
While four of the twenty injured are people traveling in the car, officials informed that others include policemen and local people trying to doused the fire.
NH-47 connecting Trivandrum with Kochi has been blocked following the incident.
