Franklin Delano Roosevelt died of cancer?

New York, Dec 31 (ANI): Franklin Delano Roosevelt's real cause of death has been a popular subject of speculation for years.

The shifting opinions are well documented: that the 32nd president of the United States, who died in his third term in 1945, suffered from both polio and heart disease.

But now, two authors suggest that he may also have had - and possibly even died from - melanoma, reports the New York Post.

The authors of 'FDR's Deadly Secret', Steven Lomazow and Eric Fettman, suspect that Roosevelt suffered from melanoma, which spread to his brain and abdomen.

The condition was not only physically disabling, but also could have seriously affected FDR's decision- making during World War II. (ANI)
