Tharoor tweets, says he missed the 'brouhaha'
New Delhi, Dec 29: External Affair Minister Shashi Tharoor, who was publicly snubbed by his senior SM Krishna for tweeting on the new visa regulations, has responded to it by tweeting again.
"Was travelling out of range & missed brouhaha. Now that EAM (external affairs minister) Krishnaji, whom I respect, has spoken, I hv (have) nothing 2 (to) add. Will discuss visa issue w (with) him," Tharoor said in his latest post on Twitter.
Thanking his followers for their support, Tharoor said, "But thanks for all the kind words over the last 24hrs. Appreciate the support!"
On Monday, Sec 28, Krishna responded strongly against the tweets posted by his junior minister questioning the new visa regulations introduced by the government in interest of national security.
