Ruchika's school: State home ministry orders probe
Chandigarh, Dec 29: In the latest development to the Ruchika molestation case, the Home Ministry of Chandigarh has ordered an inquiry against Ruchika's school.
Sacred Heart school has been asked to give reason for expelling Ruchika a month after her molestation.
Earlier the school had said that Ruchika was expelled for non-payment of fees.
However, Ruchika's family argued that why would they who live in posh sector not be able to pay the fees.
Meanwhile, a PIL will be filed against the accused former DGP SPS Rathore on Dec 29 in the High court.
The NGO World Human Rights Council (WHRC), Ranjan Lakhanpal said that the PIL would also plead for investigation into booking of Ruchika's brother Ashu in false cases, including those relating to dacoity.
