AI stowaway remanded six-days police custody
Jaipur, Dec 28: The AIr India stowaway who hid in the loo from Medina in Saudi Arabia to Jaipur has been taken into six-days police custody on Sunday, Dec 27.
SP (Jaipur- East) B G Joseph said that Habib Hussain was produced before magistrate in the Jaipur, after which he was remanded to six-days police custody.
Joseph said that Hussain will be produced before the court on Jan 2, 2010 after the remand.
Hussain was booked under the Passport Act.
According to police source the preliminary interrogation of Hussain, has not revealed any intention of harm.
Hussain, who worked as a cleaner at Medina airport with a Saudi ground handling company was hid in inside the toilet of Air India Haj charter flight from Saudi Arabia to country on the pretext of cleaning.
He hailed from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh.
