When international tourists had a great time merry making in Rajasthan's Sar village

Sar (Rajasthan), Dec.27 (ANI): Tourists from different parts of the world thronged Sar, an obscure village in Rajasthan, to enjoy the traditional lively music and vibrant dances with the villagers during a recent international rural cultural camp.

These tourists had a first hand experience of the rural life and were captivated by the colourful dances performed by the villagers. So much so, they came forward to shake their legs in the popular local dance named "Ghoomar".

Although the tourists were not familiar to the local traditions they appeared to be enjoying a wonderful time here.

"My experience was wonderful and interesting in a way because I had no expectations. I also found the villagers very open in this way. So there was space to create some communication and contact. For me it's the first time I visited India and especially wanted to go to Rajasthan. So it's one of the best experiences you can have," said Careina, a German tourist.

The tourists found it exciting to spend time amongst the villagers and lead the same kind of lifestyle like their hosts.

"This is my first time to come to India and I have always been interested in coming to India and especially Rajasthan area because I was very much interested in their culture, music, dance and everything and it was a great opportunity for me to come here and to live in the village for certain period and experience the local life," said Yuchuki, a Japanese tourist.

Rajasthan offers one of the most diversified customs and culture.
