Sufiya Madani granted conditional bail
Kochi, Dec 23: Sufiya Madani, wife of PDP leader Abdul Nasser Madani has been granted conditional bail on Wednesday, Dec 23.
The bail was granted to Sufiya by Ernakulam Sessions court judge D Papachan on payment of a bond of Rs one lakh and two sureties of the same amount.
Instructing Sufiya to remain within jurisdiction of the sessions court, the judge ordered Sufiya to appear before the investigating official whenever required and to submit her passport to the court within a week.
She was only directed not to intimidate the witnesses.
Sufiya Madani was arrested on Dec 17 in connection with the Tamil Nadu bus burning case.
She placed under judicial custody by by Judicial First Class Magistrate Court at Aluva after rejecting her bail plea.
