BSF, Pak rangers to hold flag meeting

Jammu, Dec 23: The Border Security Force (BSF) will hold a flag meeting with Pakistan Rangers over ceasefire violation along Indo-Pak border on Wednesday, Dec 23.

The meeting was called up after the Government sought a report from the BSF on the situation at the border.

It should be noted that in recent times, there has been a spate of ceasefire violation from Pakistan side.

On Saturday, Dec 19, Pakistani troops had opened fire from across the Line of Control, injuring three BSF jawans in Mendhar area of Poonch district.

There have been 27 incidents of such ceasefire violations till Nov 25 by Pakistan along the Line of Control.
