14 people hurt in Agra clash
Agra, Dec 23: At least 14 people were injured on Wednesday, Dec 23, when villagers and followers of a religious sect clashed over a land in Lalgari area here.
Residents of Lalgarhi allegedly attacked the satsangis, adherents of the Radhasoami sect, when they came to the village to collect food and water, police said.
Police further said the clash between the two sides took place over possession of several acres of land in the area.
A bus and jeep were also burnt down by protesters.
Police contingents was rushed to the village to bring the situation under control, Aditya Misra, DIG of Police said.
