Why Stephanie Rice split from management company to run own affairs
Melbourne, Dec 22 (ANI): Swimming sensation Stephanie Rice has revealed why she split from management company International Quarterback to take control of her own affairs.
The Australian swimmer said that she'd taken on too much work away from the pool and wasn't always aware of deals being done for her.
"For me to be able to get the best out of myself in the pool, everything around me has to be working really well," Herald Sun quoted Rice as saying.
"If I'm in control of that, it's going to be a lot easier.
"I'm trying to find the time to be really organised with all my sponsors -- when they can use me and when they can't, and that's just something that hasn't been done properly.
"I didn't know what happened behind the scenes. That's another reason why I want to self-manage," she added. (ANI)
