Siddhivinayak pilgrims attack: MNS denies role
Mumbai, Dec 22: The Maharahstra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has denied role in the attack on the pilgrims outside the Siddhivinayak temple.
The pilgrims, who were sleeping outside Mumbai's Siddhivinayak temple, were beaten up by a group of men on Monday, Dec 21 night.
Media reports of the incident claimed that the Raj Thackeray-led MNS launched the attack, in retaliation to Akhil Bhartiya Brahmin Mahasangh announcing a cash prize of Rs 1 crore for whoever slapped the party chief.
When asked about this, MNS leader Atul Sarpotdar denied his party's role in the incident.
No arrests have been made in connection with the attack.
