MNS men attack pilgrims near Siddhivinayak temple
Mumbai, Dec 22: Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has now hit the headlines for attacking pilgrims sleeping outside the Siddhivinayak temple here on Monday, Dec 21 night.
According to the latest media reports, the MNS has claimed responsibility for the attack on the pilgrims.
The attack came after the head of Akhil Bhartiya Brahmin Mahasangh invited the wrath of the party for allegedly announcing a cash prize of Rs 1 crore for whoever slaps the MNS chief Raj Thackeray.
The video footage of the incident shows men beating up the sleeping pilgrims with sticks. The police, however, has not yet taken any action in connection with this attack, citing that they are unable to nab the culprits.
