Oscar, the canine, goes on "hound-the-world" trip to 29 countries!
London, Dec 21 (ANI): A dog called Oscar has travelled across 29 countries, exploring all the famous sights including the Pyramids of Egypt and New York's Statue of Liberty.
The seven-year-old mongrel even left his mark on the Great Wall of China.
Owner Joanne Lefson, 38, from Johannesburg, got Oscar from a South African dogs' home.
The 250,000-pound seven-month World Woof Tour, which Joanne funded by selling her home, ended last week.
It highlighted the plight of stray dogs.
The trip was similar to the famous journey by Phileas Fogg in Around The World In 80 Days.
"It broke my heart to think how many other Oscars are out there," the Sun quoted her as saying.
Before going for the trip, Oscar had to have anti-rabies jabs. He also had a microchip fitted and a pet passport issued. (ANI)
