Huge cache of ammunition recovered in Poonch
Poonch (J-K), Dec 21 (ANI): Security forces recovered a huge cache of ammunition from Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on Sunday.
In a joint search operation launched by army's 39 Rashtriya Rifles and the Central Reserve Police Force near Line of Control in Salani area of the district, they recovered 1,500 rounds of AK rifles, 399 rounds of Pika rifles and 17 detonators.
"We have seized a huge cache of ammunition including rounds of AK rifles and Pika rifles from militants. It is quite clear that they wanted to infiltrate into India," said FH Shah, Station House Officer (SHO), Mendhar. (ANI)
