Acclaimed designers display collection in Chennai International Fashion Week

Chennai, Dec 20(ANI): Thirty acclaimed designers from 10 countries have gathered to display their creations in the Chennai International Fashion Week (CIFW), which concludes here on Sunday.

The event also has 60 leading models from 10 countries, among the star attractions at the 30 shows.

Models including Zulfi Syed, Andreas Peas and Shawar Ali displayed the exquisite collection of Pooja Rajvanshi, a designer from Jaipur.

Rajvanshi said that this event in Chennai has given her a very good platform to showcase her collection through which she could reach her international buyers and expand the business prospects.

"It's very good experience and its very good platform, which I have got in Chennai. Through this platform I can reach my international buyers. The specialty of this collection is that I have given a very international touch to my creations. The theme is versatility of pearls and it shows the flexibility of colours and this is what I have tried to show in my collection," Rajvanshi said.

About 1500 outfits have been listed to be on display on the event. (ANI)
