No time frame for resolving Telangana issue: PC

New Delhi, Dec 19: As the Telangana issue continues to create upheavels in Andhra Pradesh, Home Minister P Chidambaram has said that the time frame for resolving the Telangana issue is yet to be decided.

"No idea," Chidambaram said in a media report when he was asked to give a dateline to bring an end to the conflict surrounding the separate Telangana.

The ongoing tension between the member for and against Telangana state had forced speaker Meira Kumar to adjourned the Lok Sabha sine die on Friday, Dec 18.

Justifying the adjournment of the house, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal said that the house cannot function in a state of continuous disruptions.

TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has warned of catastrophe if the Center backs out of Telangana state.
