Mother Tweets while two-year-old baby dies

Melbourne, December 18(ANI): An American mother shocked everyone when she spared time to Tweet, while her two-year-old baby died.

Shellie Ross' sent a message to her 5000-plus followers on the social networking site, as paramedics tried to wake up her son, Bryson, found floating in the family pool.

She posted: "Please pray like never before, my 2 yr old fell in the pool."

Even after the poor child had died, Ross tweeted five hours later.

She wrote: "Remembering my million dollar baby"

Police say they have considered the tweets as part of the investigation, but told the National Post that "Twitter is not an issue in this investigation".

However, Ross has stated that she did nothing wrong.

"I didn't tweet-by-tweet the accident," the Herald Sun quoted her as telling ABC News.

Bloggers have been startled by Ross' insensitivity.

Food blogger Madison McGraw said: "The first thing I thought when I saw the tweet was that it was very sad."

"But then I thought, 'Who would tweet that her son just drowned?

"I couldn't believe it." (ANI)
