Lioness fitted with contact lenses
London, Dec 18: An 18-month-old lioness was fitted with contact lenses in a Zoo in Rome as she was losing her sight to cataracts.
Elsa, who was losing her weight in dangerous amount due to loss of appetite was implanted with lens for free by Vet Nunzio D'Anna.
The lioness is the first of its kind to have contacted lenses implanted.
