Kolkata: Maoists kill three CPM leaders
Kolkata, Dec 18: Suspected Maoists killed three CPM leaders in Lalgarh area of West Midnapore district, police said on Friday, Dec 18.
According to police, around 500 people, including suspected Maoists, barged into Bandhgara and Chandra villages late on Thursday night, Dec 17.
Maoists gunned down Anil Chalak, ex-panchayat pradhan of Chandra, Daya Chalak of Bandhgara and Amol Patra of Bainda.
The Maoists also burnt the house of Manik Jana, a CPM zonal committee member, after not finding him, police added.
