Headley was accompanied by Moroccan wife in 2008

New Delhi, Dec 18: The woman who had reportedly accompanied David Coleman Headley during his trip to India in 2008 has been identified as his Moroccan wife, according to Indian investigators handling Headley case.

Sources involved in the investigation said that the woman had traveled to India alone from Pakistan in 2007 and had stayed in Mumbai Taj hotel, which has been one of the targets of Mumbai terror attacks.

It has been the woman could have taken photographs of targets of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

She revisited India again in 2008 with Headley.

Suspecting her to be an LeT operative, investigators say that she may have brought vital documents for Headley.
