'Headley and Rana visa papers not missing'
New Delhi, Dec 17: Indian consulate in Chicago has denied reports that the visa papers of terror suspects David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana were 'missing'.
The consulate, which claimed that the visa papers of the terror suspects had not gone missing, also stated that the relevant information is available with the Indian government.
On Wednesday, Dec 17, reports of the visa papers of Pakistan-born terrorists going missing hit the headlines. Sources said that the papers have been missing ever since the role of the consul general came under the scanner.
Following this, Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao announced that the government has sought a 'factual' report on this issue.
