Aditya Birla BPO plans to hire 3,000 people

New Delhi, Dec 17: The BPO venture of Aditya Birla group, Aditya Birla Minacs plans to add 3,000 employees in the coming six months.

According to a financial daily, this will increase the company's overall headcount by 25 percent, which currently has a total strength of 12,500.

"We plan to up the headcount because of the growth projections for the next fiscal (2010-11)," Chief Executive Officer, Mr Deepak Patel was quoted by Business Line as saying.

According to him, the company will expand its headcount in India as well as in other low-cost destinations like Philippines and Canada.
