MBBS student jumps to death in Lucknow

Lucknow, Dec 16: Jyoti Rani, a final year MBBS student of Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University in Lucknow jumped to death in Gomti on Tuesday, Dec 15.

Police has called it as an alleged case of suicide based on note found in her hostel in which Rani claimed of undergoing depression due to her brother's recent death.

Rani was missing since Tuesday, Dec 15 evening.

Her body was fished out from Gomti on Dec 16 by the police, following proctor AA Ahmed information about her two-wheeler parked near the river.
