Aamir Khan lands a hotel in Varanasi trouble
Varanasi, Dec 16: Aamir's promotional spree for his movie '3 Idiots' has landed a hotel in Varanasi in trouble.
Owner of hotel Saraswati at Mughalsarai has been slapped with a notice for allowing the disguised Aamir in hotel without proper verification.
Explaining the reason behind the notice Laxmi Narain, Superintendent of Police, Chandauli district said that the hoteliers have been instructed to verify people staying in the hotel and notify the police in the wake of the terror threat.
Hotel owner said that Aamir was wearing a burqa which made it impossible for them to see his face. He booked seven rooms under the name of Akram Shah.
Terror alert was sounded in Uttar Pradesh following intelligence report of terror strikes in the state.
