Cyclonic storm to cross TN coast on Dec 15 night
Chennai, Dec 15: The cyclonic storm 'Ward' is likely to cross Tamil Nadu coast between Kaniyakumari and Nagapattinam districts Tuesday, Dec 15 night and is expected to bring down heavy rains.
"The depression which currently lies over Sri Lanka, is likely to move west direction and cross Tamil Nadu coast between Kaniyakumari and Nagapatinam district tonight," Met officials said.
Tamil Nadu and Puducherry region is expected to see heavy rains during the next 24 hours beginning 8:30 am Tuesday, Dec 15, the officials informed.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea.
