Somalia men executed for murder, adultery
Mogadishu, Dec 14: Islamist militants belonging to the Hisbul Islam rebel group executed two men in front of hundreds of people in Somlia on Sunday, Dec 13.
While one man identified as Mohamed Abuubakar Ibrahim (48) was stoned to death in a park in the Afgoye town for committing adultery, another man identified as Ahmed Mohamud Awale (61) was executed for murder.
Ibhrahim's partner, who was a 15-year-old girl, was reportedly punished with 100 lashes.
The rebels told the people of the town that an Islamic court in the district had passed the verdict of execution.
