WB: Maoists gun down three CPM workers

Midnapore, Dec 10: Suspected Maoists killed three CPM workers at Sebaytan village in Midnapore West district on Thursday morning, Dec 10.

Police said, the three, Bijay Mahto, Manik Mahto, Brihaspati Mahto, were called out from their homes in the village under Jhargram police station at about 1.30 am and gunned down.

The bodies were found this morning in front of a college with a note that the three were given the "extreme punishment by people's verdict" as they were 'police informers', police said.
