Six 'terrorists' arrested in Pakistan

Lahore, Dec 10: Pakistani law enforcement agencies have arrested as many as six men over alleged involvement in terror activities.

The six men, including three foreigners and many activists of the banned Jaish-e-Mohammed were arrested during a raid in the eastern city of Sargodha. Laptop computers, some CDs, jehadi literature and maps of sensitive locations were also seized.

The police sources have revealed the the men arrested include two Egyptians, a Yemeni, two Pakistanis with US nationality and a local government employee. The arrested men are believed to have links with the Jaish-e-Mohammed and were plotting terror attacks.

"The three foreigners, the two Pakistanis with US nationality, identified as Omer Farooq and Waqar Hasan Khan, and a highways department employee named Fahim were arrested from Farooq's house," a senior police officer of Sargodha division has been quoted as saying.

The men have been taken to undisclosed location for interrogation.
