Infosys plans to hire 13,000 freshers
New Delhi, Dec 10: India's IT major, Infosys Technolgies plans to hire 13,000 freshers in the coming fiscal (2010-11), a media report said.
"The company will close with 18,000 freshers and 3,500 laterals this fiscal year," Infosys' senior vice president and group head, Nandita Gurjar was quoted by WallStreet Journal as saying.
Gujar also said, "Infosys said that they have already started going to campuses in about 700 engineering colleges."
Earlier, Wipro Technologies said that it will hire 5,000 people in the next couple of months and is looking at a fresh recruitment strategy of taking in graduates from non-engineering institutes.
