Fire at Delhi's Assam Emporium
New Delhi, Dec 10: A fire broke out at the Assam Emporium in Delhi's Connaught Place area on Thursday, Dec 10 morning.
According to media reports, the medium intensity fire has engulfed the ground floor and the basement of the building.
No causalities have been reported so far. However, one person has been rescued from the fourth floor.
Some reports have identified the rescued person as the manager of the Emporium.
26 fire tenders have been rushed to the spot. Rescue operations and efforts to douse the fire are on.
Cause of the fire is still unknown.
