Twin blasts destroy ISI building in Pak's Punjab

Islamabad, Dec 8: Twin blasts destroyed ISI office in Multan cantonment in Pakistan's Punjab province on Tuesday, Dec 8, killing at least 12 people and injuring scores.

The first blast reportedly took place before noon and the second one followed soon. The second blast was a powerful explosion, say reports.

The injured people were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals, where the authorities have declared an emergency.

While witnesses have told the media that the attack targeting the ISI office has destroyed almost half of the building, video footage shot by a passer-by, aired by Geo News, shows the frontal portion of one building completely ruined and several nearby buildings damaged.
