London, Dec 8 (ANI): Nintendo Wii Black has aced the list of the top ten must-have Christmas gifts.
The chart released by Retail Decisions (ReD), a card fraud prevention company and a member of the Interactive Media in Retail Group (IMRG), the body for online retailers, also features other gizmos like Phillips Shaver and iPod Touch.
"Looking at our data, the must-have products criminals have attempted to purchase fraudulently this Christmas are the Toshiba Satellite Laptop L450D, the Sony Play Station Slim and Netbooks. Typically, fraudsters favour the very latest high-value, electronic goods as they tend to have a good resale value on the black market," the Telegraph quoted Carl Clump, CEO of Retail Decisions, as saying.
"With more and more consumers taking advantage of the convenience and price savings available online, it is no surprise that today sees the highest sales ever online in a single day. As shoppers go online to bag the Christmas bargains our latest research discovered that nearly three quarters of internet shoppers would be doing half or more of their total Christmas shopping online. If consumers continue to spend at this level we will exceed our December forecast of 5bn pounds," David Smith, Director of Operations, at IMRG, said.
The top ten must-have Christmas Gifts are:
1. Nintendo Wii Black
2. Wii Fit Plus and Balance Board
3. LCD TV (Samsung)
