J'khand: Maoists blow up two schools
Latehar (Jharkhand), Dec 8: Two more vacant schools have fallen prey to Maoists penchant for blowing up schools in Latehar district of Jharkhand on Monday, Dec 7.
Police said that a middle school at Newari village and a primary school at Bhargaon village were blown up by explosives placed by Maoists late at night.
No casualty has been reported in the blasts.
The blasts took place as Jharkhand went into its third phase of Assembly polls on Tuesday, Dec 8.
Latehar is scheduled to go for the fifth phase of the Assembly polls on Dec 18.
