Jammu, Dec 7: Indian authorities managed to capture another Lashkar-e-Toiba militant, when police acting on a tip-off arrested a militant, identified as Mudassar Nazar, in forest area of Jammu's Doda district on Sunday, Dec 6.

The arrest was made after the police received specific information that two militants were heading towards the hilly areas to meet Pakistani militants of LeT outfit.

The authorities who set up a cordon at Gubbar forest in the district, about 66 kms from Jammu, captured one of the militants while the other escaped.

The police on Monday, Dec 7, informed that Mudassar had gone to hand over two SIM cards to LeT militants identified as Ans and Maaz.

This comes after two Lashkar men were handed over by Bangladesh to BSF. They are currently being interrogated for their role in the 2005 attack on Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc) in Bangalore, while one of the two operatives has admitted to role in 2008 serial blast in Karnataka's capital.
