Goa: Policemen held for rape, circulating video

Panaji, Dec 5: Report against the three constables who allegedly circulated the video of a girl while she was being raped by their colleague has been submitted by the Goa police on Dec 4.

Calangute police Inspector Nolasco Raposo, in-chage of inquiry behind the incident which occurred 10 months ago, submitted his report to SP (North) Bosco George, superintendent of police (PRO) Atmaram Deshpande on Dec 4.

While Deshpande is tight-lipped about the incident, a senior police officer said that the trio has not been charged with raped but only indiscipline.

Two of the three police constables have been accused of taking video clips of a girl being raped by their colleague in a patrolling van and then later circulating the clips to their colleagues.
