Pak: Firing & blasts heard from Rawalpindi
Rawalpindi, Dec 4: There are reports of shots and explosions being heard from near a military parade ground in Pakistan's garrison city of Rawalpindi.
In news reports, Pakistan police has been quoted as saying that gunfire and at least one explosion were heard. However, the details on the exact location of what seems to be a terror attack is still awaited.
Some reports say that the firing and blasts are taking place Westridge area where the Pakistan's army headquarters is located, while other reports suggest that it was an attack on a local mosque.
This comes amid increasing number of terror attacks targeting security forces in Pakistan. On Thursday, Dec 3, a times explosive device went off near a Peshawar police check post injuring three police personnel and one civilian.
Also, on Wednesday, Dec 2 the Navy Headquarters in Islamabad was targeted.
