LeT operatives in B'lore, probe into 2005 attacks
Bangalore, Dec 4: After the two Lashkar-e-Toiba operatives, who were handed over to India by Bangladesh, confessed to involvement in the 2008 Bangalore serial blasts, the duo were taken to the city on Friday, Dec 4.
The men are being questioned for thier involvement in the 2005 attack on Indian Institute of Sciences in Bangalore.
Nazeer Parvan alian T Nazeer and Shafaz Samsuddin alias Safiquq, both from Kerala, were handed over to India's Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday, Dec 2.
On Thursday, Dec 4 Nazeer admitted to his role in the 2008 bomb blasts in Karnataka's capital, after which the terrorists were handed over to Bangalore Police.
"Nazeer, 25, has admitted to police interrogators in Shillong about their involvement in the serial blasts that rocked Bangalore Dec 28, 2005," a senior Meghalaya police official told reporters on Dec 4.
In previous interrogations, the duo are learnt to have told the Meghalaya police and BSF the details on the key bases or terrorist camps across south India and other places such as UAE and Bahrain.
