JI to launch nation wide protest against India's involvement in Baloch insurgency
Lahore, Dec.3 (ANI): The Jamat-e-Islami (JI) has announced a nation wide three-day campaign from December 14 to protest against India's alleged involvement in the Baloch insurgency
JI leaders held a special meeting to finalize its action plan during the protest campaign.
Addressing the party workers during the meeting, JI General Secretary, Liaquat Baloch, blamed New Delhi of fanning extremism in Balochistan, and criticised the PPP government for taking issue lightly.
"India is carrying out intrusive activities in tribal region the country and Balochistan but the government, instead of voicing concern, continues to remain silent against the same," The News quoted Baloch, as saying.
"Jamat-e-Islami will, during the protest campaign, bring before people the evidence of Indian involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan," he added. (ANI)
