Detained ULFA chief Rajkhowa flown to Delhi
New Delhi, Dec 3 (ANI): ULFA chief Arabinda Rajkhowa is now under the custody of the Indian Government. Rajkhowa, who was handed over by Bangladesh in Tripura today, and has been flown to the national capital.
Bangladeshi security agencies officials kept Rao at a secured location following his arrest.
Earlier on Wednesday, Home Minister P Chidambaram said in the Rajya Sabha that if the ULFA issues a statement to offer talks, the center would give its nod only if they agree to stop violence.
Rajkhowa's arrest has led many people to believe that the peace process in Assam would begin once again.
Following the arrest of the ULFA chief, an alert has been sounded across Assam. (ANI)
