'How to Kiss'- India's hottest search on Google

Bangalore, Dec 2: Internet search giant Google has released its famous year-end list Zeitgeist for 2009 featuring the most popular searches during the year.

Divided into various categories such as popular celebrities, movies, politicians and fastest raising, the annual list gives a good insight into the internet behavior of the world-audiences.

Similarly, a list featuring the most popular searches in India was also published. While budget 2009, election results, Satyam share prices were some of the 'fastest raising' searches, Katrina Kaif topped the celebrities list and Rahul Gandhi topped the politicans' list.

Like the rest of the world, India too mourned the death of Michael Jackson, turning him from King of Pop to King of the Web. While Gmail introduced itself as the hottest internet destination, Indian Railways was also one among the most popular term searched.

Interestingly, the 'how to' list is headed by 'how to kiss'. The fact that most Indians want to learn how to kiss has set the internet buzzing. 'How to hack' and 'how to meditate' follow on the 'how to' list.
