Bunking MPs face Sonia's wrath

New Delhi, Dec 1: Coming down heavily on MPs who had skipped the question hour on Monday, Nov 30, Congress president Sonia Gandhi has asked Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal to submit the names of MPs who had missed the question hour in Lok Sabha.

Sonia has prescribed disciplinary against the MPs who contributed in the adjournment of the House.

The names of Varun Gandhi, Jaya Prada, Jagdish Sharma, Meena Singh, Asaduddin Owaisi, Shruti Choudhry and P.T. Thomas figures in the list of defaulters.

Lok Sabha had to be adjourned on Nov 30 as only 34 MPs turned up for the question hour. Only 2 out of 28 Congress MPs showed up.
